We continue to follow UK government guidelines
On Monday 23rd March 2020 the UK government announced a lockdown in order to combat the Covid-19 pandemic. The UK government has announced that they are actively encouraging online businesses.
During the initial lockdown I moved as much stock as I could back to my home address and ran the business on my own from home. On 8th June Sew Me Sunshine moved back to the unit it is normally run from. The building that Sew Me Sunshine is in has strict social distancing rules, hand sanitiser throughout the building and thorough cleaning schedules throughout the day. There is a QR code for the track and trace NHS app at the front of the building.
The UK postal service is still operating and I am currently posting all UK parcels via 1st Class Royal Mail which are collected every working day. International Mail is being sent via Tracked Royal Mail service, and if they weigh more than 2kg then they are sent via a courier service. I have found that parcels are taking longer to arrive due to postal staff shortages & country border closures so please allow up to 2 weeks for your parcel to arrive before contacting me.
I have extended our return policy to 28 days.
Sew Me Sunshine staff are now attending the office which is in line with the Government guidelines, but we are adhering to social distancing rules.
We are keeping ourselves and you safe by adhering to strict hand hygiene and wiping all surfaces regularly with antibacterial wipes.
