Covid-19 Policy

Covid-19 Pandemic Update
Last Updated: 31st August 2021

As of 19th July England further reduced Covid-19 restrictions.

We continue to follow the UK government guidelines.

We are still able to process all online orders and our online store remains open.

Unlike the initial lockdown Sew Me Sunshine now has it's own external entrance, which means that it can continue to operate safely from there. Sew Me Sunshine staff will continue to attend the office in order to process online orders. The building that Sew Me Sunshine is in has hand sanitiser throughout the building, thorough cleaning schedules throughout the day and advises people to wear face coverings. There is a QR code for the track and trace NHS app at the front of the building.

Despite England allowing shops to reopen to the public we have decided to remain closed to the public until all of our staff are fully vaccinated. Once we feel it is safe for you and our team we will be resuming regular open days.

The UK postal service is still operating and we are currently posting all UK parcels via 1st Class Royal Mail which are collected every working day. International Mail is being sent via Tracked Royal Mail service, and if they weigh more than 2kg then they are sent via a courier service. We have found that parcels are taking longer to arrive due to postal staff shortages & country border closures so please allow up to 2 weeks for your parcel to arrive before contacting us.

I have extended our return policy to 28 days.

We are keeping ourselves and you safe by adhering to strict hand hygiene and wiping all surfaces regularly.

Thank you so much for your continued support during this uncertain time.

I wish you and all your loved ones the very best of health. I hope that by keeping Sew Me Sunshine open it will give you the opportunity to sew which will take your mind off the pandemic.
