Quilted cotton coating would be perfect for sewing yourself a lightweight jacket or waistcoat, patterns such as the Hovea by Megan Nielsen or the Emmi by Papercut Patterns or the Wildwood Vest by Helen's Closet. This fabric is double sided with the same design on each side; a denim blue coloured background covered in a yarn dyed white stripe design that runs parallel to the selvedge. Sandwiched between the two cotton chambray fabrics is polyester wadding. The two fabrics and wadding have been quilted together using a wavy pattern.
