Seersucker has a blue background and is covered in a thin white stripe design. The stripes are approximately 1mm wide and run perpendicular to the selvedge. The fabric is lightweight and has a classic seersucker puckered texture. Elastane has also been woven into the fabric in lines running parallel to the selvedge, this has created a more puckered shirred appearance. This fabric would be perfect for sewing yourself a blouse or dress with statement sleeves.
