Stretchfix from Vlieseline is an elastic heat-activated web-on transfer paper, suitable for jersey. For appliques on textiles or for joining two different fabrics. Can be used for hem construction in garments made from stretch fabric. It maintains the elasticity of the fabric. Suitable for light- to medium weight elastic fabrics.

Essentially this is a bondaweb for stretch fabrics.

How to use it:

1. Iron on the Stretchfix T30 along the edge with 2–3 dots, dry, for between 10 and 12 seconds. Then iron the hem along the fold at the width of the tape (before removing the paper). This way you have already defined the width of the hem and the fold without having to measure anything.

2. Then let the paper cool down completely and remove it.

3. Fold the hem upwards, cover with a damp cloth and iron section by section for around 10–12 seconds, with the iron on 2–3 dots. Do not push the iron.

Advantages:

• Stretchy

• Activated by heat

• Precise hemming without measurements
