Highstreet Fashion Brand Oliver Bonas Sewing Ideas

Does anyone else get sewing inspiration from highstreet stores?

I know I do. One of my favourite past times is browsing highstreet stores and looking at how things are made and what fabrics they have chosen. One of the stores I am personally drawn to is Oliver Bonas. We have put together some sewing inspiration for you that is inspired by Oliver Bonas. We have paired some indie sewing patterns with some of our fabrics to create 5 different looks.

Blouses feature a lot in Oliver Bonas especially blouses with extra frills and statement collars. Embroidery is seen a lot across lots of their garments. Corduroy trousers are also featured heavily, and we think the OB team would love the bow theme of this look.

Checked blouses were spotted and of course a corduroy barrel leg trouser. Why not opt to pair your outfit with a fashionable crossbody bag?

Dresses featuring a zip at the front were spotted in a few different denim fabrics, and lots of plain sweatshirts too. This outfit would look great paired with a corduroy cap.

We saw lots of boiler / flight suits and spied OB's famous striped tote bags.

V-neck dresses featured a lot especially ones featuring a checked fabric, we also spotted a few gilets which we think look great over a midi length dress.
