We are hiring!
We are looking for a new Fulfilment Assistant to join our small team at Sew Me Sunshine in Chiswick, London (W4). This role is for up to 40 hours / 5 days a week (minimum of 24 hours / 3 days a week), and is a permanent position, subject to a three month probationary period.
Salary will be dependent on skill level and past experience, however we always pay at or above the London Living Wage, as published by the Mayor of London here: https://www.london.gov.uk/what-we-do/business-and-economy/london-living-wage
We are looking for:
A friendly, helpful and professional person with a reasonable level of fabric and dressmaking knowledge and experience. You'll enjoy working as part of small team and have a keen eye for detail, ensuring our customers receive the highest quality fabrics as quickly as possible.
Job role
As a Fulfilment Assistant, your role will be to measure, cut and package fabrics & haberdashery items, ensuring all our quality standards are met. You'll work directly with Harriet and her team, and spend most of your time working directly with fabrics and customers over email.
Essential Requirements:
- Experience in dressmaking, fabric and haberdashery
- Excellent communication, personal, organization and time management skills
- Great customer management skills
- Medium IT and Computer Skills
Desirable qualities (don't worry if you don't have any or all of these)
- Prior experience working in fabric/haberdashery shops
- Experience with Shopify or other ECommerce platforms
- Ability to touch type
- Advanced IT, web design and social media skills
