Meet Sewing Sunshine's October Winner Lynn from LynnSewsNow & her Paper Theory LB Pullover

Lynn from @lynnsewsnow has a great instagram page and in October she shared some photographs of her Paper Theory LB Pullover that she made using some of my See You At Six French Terry.

Every month I pick someone who has shared a make on their social media using fabric from Sew Me Sunshine and used the hashtag #sewingsunshine. I love following this hashtag as I get so inspired by all of your amazing makes. The monthly winner receives a £20 e-voucher, and gets featured on Sew Me Sunshine's blog so that we can all get to know the winner a little bit more, so I will now hand over to Lynn so we can get to know her a bit more...

Quick Fire Questions:

Pins or Weights: Weights

Scissors or Rotary Cutter: Scissors

Cut or Trace: Cut

Favourite sewing tool: Currently my walking foot

Your machine: Janome TXL607 and a Brother 1034D overlocker

What do you listen to/watch when you sew: Music - all sorts!

Longer Questions:

When did you start dressmaking and why did you start?
I dabbled a little in my teens after inheriting a Singer treadle sewing machine, but stopped when career and family came along. I’m thrilled (and a little obsessed) to have restarted my dressmaking journey around eighteen months ago, after watching various YouTube sewists and finding the wider sewing community.

Who inspires you with your dressmaking?
Everyone in the sewing community for their creativity, kindness, support and encouragement.

What is your favourite fabric to work with and why?
Too difficult to pick one favourite.

What is your all time favourite dressmaking pattern and why?
Again, I don’t have an all time favourite, but I really appreciate pattern makers who provide multiple options and cup sizing.

Pick one fabric from Sew Me Sunshine and tell us what you would sew with it: As you may have realised, I’m not very good at picking just one. I ordered three different Sew Me Sunshine fabrics at the weekend and hoping to sew a sweater, a blouse and dungarees with them!

Thank you so much Lynn for answering our questions and for sharing your beautiful top. Don't forget to follow Lynn on instagram. Make sure you share a photograph of your sunshine make in November and use the hashtag #sewingsunshine to be in with a chance of winning £20 & to be featured on our blog.
