Deadstock water repellant linen trench coat fabric (known as Duralinen), originally used by a high end UK brand known for creating outerwear. On one side it features the natural texture of the linen in an antique gold colour with green undertones, and on the other side it has been treated with a PU coating which results in a black coloured water repellant side. It uniquely pairs the breathable, textured look of linen with a water-resistant finish, creating a highly functional yet lightweight piece of outerwear suitable for spring and summer showers. It would be ideal for sewing yourself a trench coat where the untreated linen side would be on the inside and the outside would be the black water repellant side, or you could opt to make a bag.
