* Linen is made from the fibres of the stem of the flax plant.
This fabric was originally sold to us by numerous wholesalers as 100% linen. These suppliers obtain this fabric from the same mill. It has now come to light that this fabric is in fact blended with some cotton. The quality and feel of the fabric has not changed.
We sell our dressmaking fabrics in half metre increments.
We do our best to get accurate images of all of our fabrics, but due to varying monitor screens colours may differ slightly to the original fabric. If you are unsure about the colour, weight or scale of the fabric you can order a swatch of the fabric.
Fabric Warning
- We have not tested our fabrics for flammability, please refer to the fabric composition in each website listing. We do not advise that our fabrics are used for high risk applications such as uniforms, upholstery and so on. Make sure fabrics are kept away from heat sources.
- STRANGULATING/ENTANGLEMENT/SUFFOCATION HAZARD: fabric may pose a strangulating, entanglement or suffocation risk, especially to children and vulnerable adults. Always keep out of reach of children and vulnerable adults.
