FABRIC SUGGESTIONS - Sweatshirt fleece or French terry (loopback). For the joggers version, you’ll also need ribbing for the cuffs.
SUPPLIES
- Fabric (see above + back of envelope)
- Joggers version: 0.2m (1/4yd) ribbing (at least 90cm [1yd] wide unfolded)
- Matching thread
- 40mm (1 1/2in) wide elastic to the length of your waist measurement
- Small piece of iron-on interfacing
- Drawstring cord, jersey yarn, or flat cotton tape to the length of your waist measurement + 75cm (30in) – or a small length of cotton jersey fabric to make your own drawstring (the pattern instructions will show you how!)
- 2 safety pins
- Sewing machine with adjustable zigzag stitch and buttonhole foot
- Basic sewing tools (incl ballpoint or stretch needle for your sewing machine)
- Optional: Overlocker (AKA serger)
