The Panel Dress is a mid-calf length dress with side panels and long ties for an adjustable fit. At the front piece there are two darts and in the back there is a keyhole opening in the neck and a slit in the centre back. The dress can be made with or without topstitching.

This pattern is designed for woven fabrics. If you want a crisp look, choose a fabric that doesn’t drape too softly. For a more elegant and feminine look, opt for a fabric with a nice drape. If you are unsure about which fabric to choose, fabrics such as poplin, woven viscose, and cotton twill all work well for this dress.
