Viscose Batik - Navy Star

Viscose batik fabric was originally made in India. If feels similar to a viscose lawn. It is lightweight and has a fairly good drape. It features a bright navy blue background and is covered in an abstract design featuring star shapes. Batik fabric is a traditional textile made using a wax resistant dyeing technique (please see this YouTube video of the fabric being made). As this fabric has been created using traditional highly skilled methods please expect irregularities and imperfections but we think these make the fabric unique and beautiful.

Care: It is advised that you handwash the fabric, but if you wish to machine wash we recommend you do so on a delicate setting at no more than 30 degrees and wash separately with a colour catcher.
