This week, we’ve taken inspiration from the brand of the moment - Marks & Spencer! We have focused on their Autumnal looks and have created some fun pairings for you.

Checks are all over the M&S new in section, we took inspiration from one of their a-line skirts and paired it with a ruched top.

Fabrics: Deadstock Yarn Dyed Organic Cotton Blend Blue + Tan Check, Chenille Jacquard Light Vanilla Cream.
There is so much denim in their Autumn collection and we loved how it was used to make a panelled dress. We also spotted a few bomber jackets and fell in love with the corduroy version. We also took inspiration from their quilted checked shopper.

Fabrics: Jumbo Cotton Corduroy Khaki, Denim 8oz Mid Blue Washed, Deadstock Organic Cotton Coffee Check.
Patterns: True Bias Tobie Jacket, Mayrahki Patterns Mila Dress, Porche Patterns Almendra Tote Bag with label from Little Rosy Cheeks.
Corduroy was found throughout their new in section, and we loved how they used it to make some flared trousers.

We love a M&S t-shirt staple, and we are particularly fond of the slash neck tees. We thought they paired perfectly with their wrap skirts.

A relaxed trouser is exactly what you need for Autumn, and we think it looks fantastic paired with a casual denim chambray shirt.
