Deadstock coated cotton fabric was sourced from a high end British designer known for their water repellant coats and other apparel. This cotton fabric has a black backing and is covered in a coating on the right side that results in a water repellant surface and a dark navy blue colour. Due to this coating the fabric does leave creased marks. These marks can be resolved by either heating the fabric gently with a hairdryer, but we think these marks give the fabric a unique traditional look. As the fabric is not waxed it is not sticky or tacky. These high end fabrics are ideal for sewing yourself a coat or a bag, patterns such as, the Foreman jacket by Merchant and Mills or  Le Sac Banane by Atelier Brunette or you could sew an apron or a backpack. This colourway is a dark navy blue.
