Deadstock waxed cotton fabric was sourced from a high end British designer known for their waxed coats. This cotton fabric has been treated with a wax coating meaning that it is water resistant. Due to this waxed coating the fabric does leave creased marks. These marks can be resolved by either heating the fabric gently with a hairdryer or re-waxing the fabric, but we think these marks give the fabric a unique traditional look. These high end fabrics are ideal for sewing yourself a coat or a bag, patterns such as, the Foreman jacket by Merchant and Mills or Le Sac Banane by Atelier Brunette or you could sew an apron or a backpack. This colourway is a classic black
