Nevis Skirt sewing pattern from Merchant & Mills. For climbing mountains or pounding pavements, this walking skirt has two versions. A high waistband, pocket and button detailing ideal for utility cloths, or a simple tie detail ideal for soft linens.
Sizing: UK 6-18 OR UK 18-28 (see sizing chart in images)
Suggested fabrics:Mid-weight cotton canvas, 8 oz organic sanded twill, corduroy, light-medium weight woollens and 7-10 oz denim. The designer suggests using softer fabrics for the tie version to give a relaxed silhouette such as linen, tencel/linen, linen/wool blends.
You will need: Interfacing; 0.4 m (1/2 yd) lining // Button waistband: four 2 cm (3/4") buttons; one 1.5 cm (1/2") button // Tie waistband: one 2 cm (3/4") button.
