Quilted velvet coating would be perfect for sewing yourself a lightweight jacket or waistcoat, patterns such as the Hovea by Megan Nielsen or the Emmi by Papercut Patterns or the Wildwood Vest by Helen's Closet. This fabric is double sided - one side is a luxurious velvet fabric in a vintage floral design, and the other side is a plain water resistant polyester lining in a silver grey colour. Sandwiched between the two fabrics is polyester wadding. The two fabrics and wadding have been quilted together using a classic diamond pattern.
