It is a yarn dyed cotton polyester blend that has a herringbone check design in orange, red, blue and grey tones. It has a slight amount of 2 way stretch and is fairly structured. It is covered in lines of see through small sequins (3mm) that run parallel to the selvedge, these lines of sequins have been sewn onto the fabric with adjoining sections that you can see on the reverse. The thread used for the sequins is also see through and soft against the skin.
